The smart way to create PDFs
Kodak Prepare Pro is an enhanced version of Kodak Prepare
that provides printers and trade shops with additional functionality
for creating great PDFs.
In addition to all of the capabilities
of Kodak Prepare, the Pro version enables prepress technicians
to set their printing instructions and distribute custom vendor
profiles to designers through a directive.
Prepress professionals can customize directives to control
settings for QuarkXpress, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat® distiller
and Enfocus PitStop. After locking and saving a directive,
it can be sent via e-mail or posted to the Web so that the
creative professional can access it. The directives can then
be imported into the designers version of Kodak Prepare, allowing
the creation of error-free PDFs. Directives are updated automatically
when Kodak Prepare is connected to a Kodak InSite server.
