With ivyGrid you have a tool to implement and support difficult processes without fat manuals and expensive specialists.

Complex processes can be presented in a graphical way. The application can be obtained from the underlying processes.

ivyGrid is a logic of an application or a Web workflow is defined and implemented by a graphical process model; i.e. the process model eventually controls the applications behavior.

Databases are accessed via a special DB element. The dialog elements control the dialogs in the browser of the users. This way the information exchange between user and application is orchestrated.

With specially tailored PI (Program Interface) SOAP and Web service elements, a straight forward integration with other applications can be achieved, e.g. with ERP, CRM, DMS.

Design and Prototyping
A new process model can be designed by simply dropping standard elements (or components) onto the grid and linking them with connectors.

The connectors define the flow of the data objects through the process model, carrying attributes which contain the current values that have been assigned to the object in a standard element (user dialog or a database access element, etc.). Hence, the data objects transport dynamic data through a process from one process element to the next

The ivyGrid simulator enables you to validate functionality and test consistency and logical behavior of your application in the prototyping mode. In the run-time mode (after uploading the application to a Web server) the simulation model becomes the controller of the application.

Content Management System (CMS)
ivyGrid contains a built-in content management system which enables you to capture or maintain multilingual contents; with the online tool you or your administrator can do it online just using an internet browser.

To capture or maintain the contents you do not need to resort to HTML, familiarity with the browser is all you need.

You may publish the multilingual contents at or during certain defined times; i.e. such contents become active or inactive at the specified points in time.

Workflow

ivyGrid has various workflow functions. With the role assignment you can give access rights to task lists, which contain the information of the workflow.

Expiry time with timeout exceptions and exception roles can be defined to transfer the workflow to the right person at the right time.
