Platform Independent Client OfficeClip Timesheet and Expense Tracker is designed to run on a web browser, which ensures platform independence when used on desktop and web-enabled mobile devices.
Powerful backend Sql Database All the OfficeClip Timesheet and Expense Tracker entries are stored in an MS SQL Server database, which provides architectual power and flexibility in a data-driven environment. OfficeClip products are bundled with the MSDE (Microsoft Desktop Engine), which offers a low-cost, low-volume database solution which can later be migrated to a heavily loaded, high availability platform.
Flexible Reporting Options OfficeClip Timesheet and Expense Tracker package contains two reporting engines. The primary reporting mechanism is Crystal Reports®. In addition OfficeClip has its own XML-based report engine that can be configured with an XML file, enabling end users to easily to modify and create reports.
High-Level Information Flow Users create OfficeClip Timesheet and Expense Tracker with a web browser. The request from the web browser goes to the web server, which then utilizes business logic to communicate with the SQL Server database.
