MicroDOC is a simple menu-driven, desk-top computer based system designed to record all types of project documents and track their movements and responsibilities both internally, within the project team, and externally with all outside suppliers/contractors. Created in the late 80s, MicroDOC has been developed to improve documentation control on major projects where communication is a vital issue and it is essential to know the status of every key document at any point in time in the project process.
MicroDOC is simple to set up and easy to use, enabling the project engineer to control the project from day one. By helping to monitor the flow of all documents and pinpointing areas of concern, MicroDOC also contributes to reduce costs.
