I-Cost Description
|
I-Cost is the first project cost system available for corporate intranets. It combines powerful features with a simple web interface, resulting in the best project cost measurement system available.
Information in I-Cost is global - files can be used for specific projects or for enterprise-wide purposes.
1. Structure Files: Hierarchical files are used to summarize costs (like a WBS). I-Cost supports an unlimited number of structures that can be attached to the Control Account, tasks or resource levels.
2. Code Files: User-defined fields that are used for filtering. I-Cost supports an unlimited number of codes that can be attached to the Control Account, tasks or resource levels.
3. Rate Files: Rate files can contain an unlimited number of rates that can be escalated over any period of time.
4. Flexible Resource Tool: Using I-Cost’s Resource Tool, you can build your own calculations for budgeting and/or pricing. Each line item can be added, multiplied, divided or subtracted from another line item. With this flexibility, I-Cost can match any company’s cost structure.
