Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) is a business strategy that can identify actionable events based on combinations of real-time (or near real time)
business events across many different applications and other information resources. A robust integration platform is the foundational component providing event visibility into the business systems with speeds as close to real time as processes demand.
eBAM provides configuration wizards that allow business users to define rules for BAM and relevant business key performance indicators (KPIs). It also provides a runtime environment for the execution of these rules and display components for graphical depiction of changes in the KPIs over time. The end result is the generation of a BAM composite application with end user dashboards, reports and alerts generated without any programming.
