solution takes a centralized approach to deploying electronic
signatures within an organization, allowing an extremely
quick deployment. Once the CoSign appliance is installed
on the company’s network, CoSign will work in sync with
the company’s user directory (e.g. Microsoft Active Directory,
Novel/NDS) to generate signing keys (Private Keys) to all
users. The technology behind CoSign electronic signatures
is based on an industry standard known as "Public Key Infrastructure"
(PKI). With PKI, each user has a key-pair, a Private Key
and a Public Key used in every signature.
