BIRT delivers high quality Java web reports that can be as simple or complex as required - combining data, text, images, rules, charts, tables and user - provided parameters in a single document or webpage.
It accesses a variety of sources that include relational databases, XML sources, CSV files, EJBs and in-memory Java objects and generates reports in PDF or HTML that support a wide range of common business and technical report styles from simple lists to multi-pass aggregation reports to language-localized invoices and correspondence.
Using the Actuate BIRT design environments allow report developers to expedite development and deliver high quality report content.
